EG4 WallMount 314Ah Indoor vs All-Weather

Same 16 kWh pack, same 314Ah capacity, same discharge ratings. What differs is the box around it, and with it where it can live, how much it weighs…

Two pieces of home solar equipment side by side in a utility space.

Datasheet scoreboard: 5 lines where both datasheets list a number. It counts who has the bigger (or, for idle draw, smaller) figure; it is not a quality rating and says nothing about reliability.

The short version

The same pack in two boxes: IP20 for indoors, IP67 for outdoors.

  • WallMount 314Ah: The battery goes in a dry, enclosed indoor space such as a utility room or closed garage.
  • WallMount 314Ah AW: The battery must be outside or in a damp location.

Same 16 kWh pack, same 314Ah capacity, same discharge ratings. What differs is the box around it, and with it where it can live, how much it weighs and which certification lines the maker prints.

Highlighted = the better figure where both datasheets give a number (higher is better, except idle draw). More is not always better: a larger solar input, for example, needs a bigger battery and wiring to use it. Sources: EG4 WallMount 314Ah Indoor datasheet · EG4 WallMount 314Ah All-Weather datasheet.
