EG4 batteries compared: energy, current and weight per kWh
Every EG4 battery in one table, straight from the datasheets, with a calculated column for weight per kilowatt-hour.
The battery range in one table. Values are copied from the datasheets; “weight per kWh” is our arithmetic (weight divided by nominal energy) and is a handy way to judge what a wall or a floor has to carry.
| Model | Energy | Voltage | Capacity | Max discharge (as listed) | Weight | Weight per kWh (calculated) | Enclosure |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| WallMount 314Ah | 16 kWh | 51.2 V | 314 Ah | 200 A / 157 A | 293.2 lbs (133 kg) | 18.3 lbs | IP20 |
| WallMount 314Ah AW | 16 kWh | 51.2 V | 314 Ah | 200 A / 157 A | 309 lbs (140 kg) | 19.3 lbs | IP67 |
| WallMount 280Ah | 14.3 kWh | 51.2 V | 280 Ah | 140 A (max. continuous) | 286.6 lbs (130 kg) | 20.0 lbs | IP20 |
| PowerPro 280Ah AW | 14.3 kWh | 51.2 V | 280 Ah (±2%) | 140 A max. continuous | 308.6 lbs (140 kg) | 21.6 lbs | IP65 |
| WallMount 100Ah | 5.12 kWh | 51.2 V | 100 Ah | 100 A (max. continuous) | 108 lbs (49 kg) | 21.1 lbs | IP20 |
| LifePower4 | 5.12 kWh | 51.2 V | 100 Ah | 100 A (max. continuous) | 99.6 lbs (45.2 kg) | 19.5 lbs | IP20 |
| LL-S 48V 100Ah | 51.2 V | 100 Ah | 100 A max. continuous, 50 A recommended | 99.6 lbs (45.2 kg) |
How to read it
- Energy is the nominal figure. Usable energy is lower: the datasheets quote cycle life at 80% depth of discharge, and our calculators use 80% unless you change it.
- Max discharge is shown as printed. On the 314Ah batteries the sheet lists 200 A as the maximum and 157 A as the recommended figure, so design to the lower number.
- Weight per kWh only compares like with like within a row of similar batteries; it says nothing about quality or lifespan.
- A blank means the datasheet we checked does not list that value, not that the battery lacks it. The LL-S, for example, lists no energy figure on its sheet.
